History:
During a weapons demonstration on September 2041, New Berlin Tanks unveiled their Upgrade for the Panther II main battle tank, the Panther III. Two models of the Panther III were presented for the UEA procurements consideration, the First being a cheaper production version and the Second a UA+ Project by the Panther III designers. Although the UA+ project was intended just to Capture the Admirals of the Procurement attention, it was immediately asked if the UA+ Project would enter production along with its production counterpart. They were told that it was a project intended for show and no testing had even been made on the vehicle yet. The admirals wanted to have it tested immediately to see how well this new UA+ project would perform. The Panther III UA+ was then packed up and sent to the Mars testing grounds to see how well it would perform.
After the Rigorous testing was complete, the UA+ proved to be extremely effective and the improvements in Armour and firepower allowed it to take on far greater threats than the Stock panther III and by far Superior to the ageing Gravity Tank. Immediately after testing, 200 Panther III UA+`s were ordered by the UEA Procurement. Upon deployment, 20 Panther III UA+`s were sent(After training and Field testing of course) against a large Demon Force and came out of combat with only 2 losses, A first for any MBT in the UEA`s arsenal. Many of the Ideas and improvements that came out of the Panther III UA+ were used in later designs by NBT LTD, specifically the JagdPanther Tank Destroyer and the Leopard IV Prototype.

History:
The Panther III came in 2041 as an upgrade to the existing Panther II. It included a boosted Fusion reactor for better acceleration and better fuel efficiency than the Prior Single reactor of the Panther II. As well improved Armour angling and better acid coatings were included. Also Suspension was upgraded to handle the new 165mm cannon, replacing the previous 155mm cannon of the Panther II. Overall the upgrade was much needed because of the Increasing Demon threats. The Panther III helped to combat these threats much more effectively, being the saviour of many UEA Soldiers and building on the fierce reputation that Panther tanks were known for since their introduction in 2036.
Several notable engagements where the Panther III tanks was a major factor in victory was in one of the border bases in UEA outpost Coming Dawn. In the Early hours of the Morning, The Outpost was suspecting another uneventful day, but unfortunately an hour or so later. A Massive demon force attacked the Outpost. Within the First half an hour the outpost defence's were getting overwhelmed, the base defenders consisting of several Chain Tanks, half a dozen Gravity tanks, and Soldiers were insufficient to combat the Demon force. A reinforcement of Panther III were sent from a nearby base, Pegasus Base, to relieve the outpost. They arrived an hour later, The Outpost had barely managed to hold out for that long. The Panther III's managed to hold of the attack for several hours using well coordinated sniping. Eventually, the Demon Forces retreated after numbers were basically exhausted and the Panther III's were starting to mop up what remained of them.

history:
The Tiger III design was first unvealed in the new detroit weapons demonstration in 2036. The aim of the new super heavy tank was to replace the ineffective HA78HAT "Bulldozer" tank that was presently in the UEA arsenal. The initial design of the Tiger three was considered, atleast at the time, to be a little conservative. the Initial prototype had a large singlular 280mm cannon, and only 300mm of armor all around. Among the Panther II, the Tiger III was also ordered into production by the UEA procurement committee. When production was ordered, several changes were made from the inital prototype version. Armorment was changed to twin 250mm cannons for better firepower, but also allowed for the use of magazines which was impossible with the previously mounted 280mm cannon on the prototype(the sheer weight of the shells were found to break the hydraulic loaders and slow down turret traverse). Armor was also upgraded for better protection and survivability.
Due to the expense of the Tiger IIIs, Only four were given to each armored division. The price was well worth it though, because to date only about a dozen of the hundred Tiger IIIs ordered have been destroyed in battle. The success of the Tiger IIIs permanently stopped production of the Heavy tank line produced by MOON Heavy industries(The tanks that were decomisioned have been found to be used by the rebel faction as of recently). One of the main reasons that the Tiger IIIs have such a high survivability is due to the Engineer that every tank has to maintain it, on and off the battlefeild. These engineers keep the tank in top condition, and make life saving repairs while in battle that have saved several Tiger IIIs from destrution.
